Where to Eat, Drink, and Make Deals During Art Basel Miami

Though Cleo opened just a month ago at the Redbury South Beach, the restaurant is hardly a newcomer. The Mediterranean-inspired mezze bar is the third outpost from chef Danny Elmaleh, following successful openings in Los Angeles in 2010 and at the SLS Las Vegas in September. And it’s already drawing some serious crowds, who come for the perfectly shareable plates of wood-fired fare (think veggies, meats, seafood, and flatbreads) and stay for the handcrafted cocktails, like the signature—and hashtaggable—#belegendary, a mix of Grey Goose Le Melon, St. Germain, fresh lime juice, and prosecco.
