COVID-19 Update

As a global, luxury hospitality brand, our top priority is always the health and wellbeing of our guests and team members. Mondrian Los Angeles is utilizing the latest cleaning technology and has adapted the AHLA “Safe Stay” protocols -

  • Face coverings and social distancing are required throughout the hotel for both guests and employees, masks will be available upon request

  • Upon arrival to your room you will find a seal placed over the door to indicate the room has not been accessed after being cleaned and disinfected. With the health and well-being of our guests and associates in mind, our housekeepers will not disturb you during your stay, all accommodations will be cleaned upon check-out or by request only

  • Elevators can be used with a strict maximum capacity of 2 persons. Guests may use the stairs as a contact-free alternative

  • In-room technologies have been adapted to allow for contactless operation

Guest Amenity Fee

$26 USD (plus tax) mandatory Guest Amenity Fee per room, per night, includes:  

  • $10 grab & go food and beverage credit per day

  • High-speed internet access

  • Complimentary daily in-room coffee

  • Access to heated pool and deck area

  • 24-hour Business Center access

  • 24-hour Fitness Center access

  • Local and domestic calls 


The following guest amenities are unavailable or have been modified: 

  • Outdoor heated pool and deck - open with reduced capacity; seating has been configured to allow for safe distancing

  • Skybar - due to government regulations, Skybar is temporarily closed. The pool and deck remain open to hotel guests

  • Ivory on Sunset - temporarily closed (grab & go items are available for purchase)

  • In-room Dining - currently unavailable (grab & go items are available for purchase)

  • Minibar - all minibar items have been removed from the rooms for your safety. These items can be purchased by contacting the front desk

  • Concierge Services - currently unavailable. Our Front Desk associates will be happy to assist



As a result of COVID-19 we are offering flexible cancellation without charge until 12pm on the day of arrival for all direct bookings with arrival dates through December 31st, 2020.

For reservations made through 3rd party sellers such as Expedia and please contact your respective provider directly for details regarding their policies.



Safe distancing markers will be visible on the floor in front of the front desk.

We have placed a clear plexiglass divider at the front desk to ensure additional protection between guests and associates.

Check-In time is 3pm. Check-Out time is 12pm. Early Check-In is by request only and not guaranteed. A valid credit card is required at check-in. In addition to room and tax an additional $200 USD per night will be held on your credit card to guarantee any incidental charges. Late Check-Out may be requested through the front desk and is often at an additional charge if available. Guests must be at least 21 years old to check into the hotel, minors are permitted to check-in with a written or electronic form from a parent, guardian or responsible adult assuming liability for charges, obligations, injuries and/or damages relating to the minor’s stay.



Valet parking will be available for $49 per night. Parking procedures have been modified to ensure your safety.

The hotel is located on Sunset Blvd roughly 0.1 mile east of La Cienega Blvd. You will find the entrance to the drive located just before the historical Monument Doors.



Pets are welcomed guests at Mondrian Los Angeles. A waiver must be signed upon arrival and a $125 non-refundable deposit is required. No pets are allowed in any areas serving food and beverage or by the pool. Pets may not be left unattended in the guest rooms.


Luggage Storage

Luggage storage is currently unavailable to ensure the safety of all guests and associates.


Deposits and Guarantees

A credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee the room. Specials, packages, and prepaid reservations may require an actual deposit depending on the time of booking and will be stated during the booking process. Direct billing accounts must be requested and set up through the Property Accounting Office for approval. Please note: A valid credit card is required at check-in. In addition to room and tax an additional $200 USD per night will be held on your credit card to guarantee any incidental charges.


Prepaid Bookings & Gift Certificates

Gift Certificates are available through the hotels individually. Prepaid bookings require a Credit Card Authorization Form to be completed and faxed to the hotel. This form is available by calling the hotel directly. Such submissions are subject to Private Policy.



Package Handling Charges apply to all incoming and outgoing Letters and Packages.
0-1 lb letter $4.00
2-15 lbs $7.00
16-30 lbs $10.00
31-50 lbs $14.00
51-80 lbs $28.00
81-100 lbs $42.00
101-150 lbs $56.00

Over 150 lbs, round weight up the nearest 100 lbs and calculate at $56.00 per 100 lbs.
Example 151=200 lbs and the handling charge is $112.00.
Pallet delivery is subject to a $75.00 pallet service fee. FedEx, UPS, USPS deadline for all outgoing shipments is 2PM Monday through Friday, 11AM Saturday.

*Due to limited storage space, shipments may NOT arrive any earlier than three (3) days prior to arrival.

**Stored packages must be picked up within 48 hours are subject to a $15.00 a day storage fee.

Mondrian Los Angeles- Mondrian Los Angeles is a non-smoking property. Smoking is permitted in the front of the building, as per LA code, 15 feet away from any entrance. Smoking is permitted in designated areas outside. Smoking is permitted on balconies. There is a $500 fine for violation of the smoking policy.


Tax Exempt Guests

All Tax Exempt Guests must bring an Individual Tax Exempt form from their organization and present it upon checking in.


Sustainability and Community Initiatives

Mondrian Los Angeles practices and enforces an intensive recycling program. All glass, plastic, paper (including newspaper and cardboard) and aluminum are recycled from all outlets, offices and guest rooms.

Energy efficient LED bulbs are used in food and beverage outlets, offices and guestrooms.

InnsCom HVAC systems are in place, ensuring the A/C will automatically turn off when a guest leaves the room and also allowing room temperatures to be controlled remotely. New double-paned guest room windows and balcony doors are found in all guestrooms.

Low flow aerators are placed in all guest room showers, toilets and wet bars and also placed in restaurant kitchen sinks.

Toilet paper and paper towels are made of recycled paper.

All guestroom soap and unused bath amenities are sent to be recycled for use and distribution in third world and developing countries.

All batteries from guestroom remotes and other electronics are recycled. All e-waste is recycled.

Reverse osmosis drinking water machines installed throughout back of house to reduce usage of plastic containers and delivery emissions.

Mondrian Los Angeles hosts various events in support of animal shelters and at-risk youths. 

For the enjoyment of the guests and to support local artists, art exhibits are featured throughout the year in the Magic Box, located in the lobby.
