Sure, you can spend the entire Winter Music Conference (March 21 – 24) going from venue to venue, seeing one big name after another. But many international DJs and seasoned WMC party-goers know that sometimes the real magic happens in more intimate settings. So between all the fist pumping mayhem you’ll find on the dance floor, take a breather at one of these hot spots, great for having a drink (or two, or three) while WMC unfolds. If there are any problems getting in, just let the doorman know you’re with the DJ.

Hyde Beach
Hyde Beach is host to many epic events during Miami Music Week for good reason. This sprawling space, just steps away from the beach, will be just as lively during WMC. With plenty of indoor/outdoor areas, Hyde offers artful mixology and cuisine from José Andrés—great for day or night drinks.

Basement Miami
In the basement (hence the name) of the EDITION hotel is a disco themed whirlwind with an incredible sound system and a focus on hospitality. Yes, it’s technically a club, but cozy enough to have a conversation.

Electric Pickle
This Wynwood District locale describes itself as “an intimate, liquor fueled love machine.” That certainly sounds appealing, especially in light of their extensive cocktail list, outdoor patio, and special programming during WMC.

Broken Shaker
The drinks at this James Beard Award semi-finalist’s are next level—name a spirit of your choice and they’ll come up with a one of a kind concoction. This hot spot has an expansive patio area so you can take in Miami’s warm salty evening air while mingling with South Beach’s creative and music-minded set.

The Raleigh
You never know what DJs you’ll be rubbing elbows with under the palm trees of The Raleigh’s iconic Pool Bar. Plus, there are few things better than enjoying the best mojitos this side of Cuba while people-watching next to The Raleigh’s infamous pool.
