Ahh the infamous Burning Man, with all it’s magic, myths, and mayhem. The annual festival in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert that brings together thousands of revelers is right around the corner, from August 28 – September 5. Visitors can expect everything from live art installations, performances, DJs, music, and, as any festival goer would tell you, introspection and expression alike. Whether you’re a die-hard “burner” or prefer to participate on the sidelines via social media, there are plenty of notable guests to fill your feed over the course of the festival. We’ve rounded them up here.

Katy Perry
Last year marked the pop star’s first foray into the Burning Man universe, looking every bit the part. This year, let’s see if she can stay on the Segway she famously fell off of in 2015.

One of the most interesting artist collectives coming to the desert this year is HYBYCOZO, makers at the intersection of science, technology, and the artists’ favorite book, Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. Follow along as their geometric installation comes to life in anticipation of the festival and beyond.

Olivia Steele
This Berlin and Tulum-based neon artist stole the show at last year’s festival. Her beautiful installations with reminders like “You Are Exactly Where You Need to Be,” lit up the night sky.

This stylist, creative director and cast member of BravoTV’s “There Goes Motherhood,” has even created a guide to “Surviving Burning Man in Style.” A must-read for any first-time festival goers!
