Saint Patrick’s Day, or, the Feast of Saint Patrick, began as a cultural and religious celebration in Ireland when restrictions on eating and drinking were lifted—hence the reason that today, it’s become know more as a drinker’s holiday. And since there’s little the Irish like to drink more than beer, this ritual has become synonymous with the celebration. Of course at sbe we are also fans of beer, whether its a traditional Irish brand or a craft beer. So just in time for St. Patty’s Day, we’ve rounded up the best spots to enjoy an ice cold beer, with or without all the debauchery that the holiday implies.
