We love beer. That’s why we’re uber excited to drink lots of it in celebration of the German festival Oktoberfest. What started back in the 1800s as an annual custom in the South of Germany, has now become a worldwide phenomena. Today people come together during the 16 day festival to enjoy delicious—and massive—steins of beer, German cuisine, and to don traditional Bavarian attire: “lederhosen” for men, and “dirndls” for women.

Make the most out of this joyous season by boozing it up at the best spots in Vegas. Start off at Double Barrel with a Goose Island Honkers Ale from Chicago—nicely balanced with a fruity hop aroma, paired with a rich malt middle. Then, head to Umami Burger Beer Garden & Sports Book at SLS Las Vegas, because what would an Oktoberfest party be without hitting up their beer garden festivities with specials running all month long? Indulge in a beer braised bratwurst with cheddar fondue, and wash it all down with Samuel Adams OctoberFest. Finish your hops heavy night off in style at the Sayers Club, with a seasonal craft beer. With world class live music to distract your impending hangover, go ahead and order one last round or two—then you can officially say you’ve done Oktoberfest, just like the Germans.
