Around the world people celebrated gay pride last month with colorful parades, parties and general raucousness. Revelers gathered on beaches, in bars, on floats, in cars, to champion equality and to honor the 1969 Stonewall Riots in NYC, which were a tipping point for the gay liberation movement. The festivities are held every June and each year they get bigger and better. We partied in Los Angeles at The Abbey, where tens of thousands of party-goers danced in the streets and at the bar. And because we couldn’t be at all of the beautiful cities around the globe where the revelry went down, we rounded up some pictures from around the world so we could live vicariously through this international community.
