Katsuya has been a mainstay in Los Angeles for over 10 years. Now, it gleams with modern touches, abstract art, and sleek and open interiors. With a new-look and feel, thanks to famed designer Philippe Starck, Katsuya truly has perfected a feast for the senses. We’re now taking our sights overseas to the Middle East – stay tuned for more to come.

The original dream of sbe and Master Sushi Chef Katsuya Uechi – celebrates the art of entertaining with innovative sushi and robata dishes, in a sleek “wooden bento box setting” that speaks to Philippe Starck’s style. Candles glow against new lustrous leather furniture; while geisha graphics complete the warm and inviting ambiance, ideal for hosting gatherings of all sizes. Fittingly located in the entertainment capital of the world, Katsuya Hollywood offers a stunning display with a sleek and intimate sushi bar, abstract wall decor of Samurai helmets, and a hint of playfulness with gold-painted toys. World-renown designer Philippe Starck created a universe of bold, provocative and dramatic decor, while his daughter Ara Starck crafted a hand-painted mural as vibrant as Katsuya is.
