In August 2007, SBE finalized its acquisition of Las Vegas’ legendary Sahara Hotel & Casino with partner Stockbridge Real Estate Funds. The last remaining “Rat Pack” casino, the Sahara is currently celebrating its 55th Year on the Las Vegas Strip – having been the setting for the original “Ocean’s Eleven” film and hosted virtually every major star as a performer or guest.

SBE is currently managing the property in conjunction with Navegante Group, who is operating the Sahara Casino. A complete renovation and revitalization of the Sahara is currently in the planning stages and is expected to be completed in 2011. The new Sahara will be an integral component in the exciting renaissance of the northern end of Las Vegas Boulevard. With innovative and exciting plans on the horizon for this legendary property, SBE will introduce a new generation of travelers to a completely renewed Sahara.
