sbe is gearing up to have the biggest and best year yet. From new hotel, restaurant and nightclub openings around the world, to celebrating our latest acquisition of Morgans Hotel Group properties, the future looks very bright. In 2017 alone we’re anticipating SLS debuts on New York’s Park Avenue, Miami’s Brickell neighborhood, as well as in Philadelphia, Seattle and Mexico. To get you as excited as we are for the months ahead, here’s a preview of what’s to come.
SLS Park Avenue
Set in the heart of New York’s buzzing Nomad neighborhood, this beautiful building will light up the city’s skyline. Look forward to a restaurant from James Beard Award Winning Chef José Andrés, S Bar, and an exclusive rooftop experience. Plus: plenty of plush rooms to relax in after pounding the pavement.
SLS LUX Brickell
In Miami’s up and coming Brickell neighborhood, SLS Lux will feature 450 residences, 85 luxury suites, an art collection, tennis and fitness center, and a sky rooftop pool. Oh and did we mention the wine cellar and cigar room, plus a new Katsuya and SBar?
This refined property with 270 rooms—among them two royal penthouse suites and bridal suite—will be the first hotel in the Middle East to be designed by renowned creative Marcel Wanders. His touch will be seen throughout the hotel in various design elements which evoke a modern fairytale. Expect plenty of bespoke features plus restaurants Cut and Morimoto, nightlife venues, a souk, a hammam, ballroom, and even a men’s and women’s spa. Then there’s the stunning sky bar with a stained glass dome, with a pool and walking bridge underneath.
Four New sbe Venues at The James West Hollywood
Designed by Wendy Haworth, this highly anticipated LA outpost will offer panoramic views of the Hollywood Hills and Los Angeles basin. Stay tuned for stunning social spaces, a casually sophisticated aesthetic, and the home of four new outposts from sbe Nightlife and Disruptive Restaurant Group including the second outpost of honest Italian from James Beard Award Winning Chef Michael Schwartz, Fi’lia West Hollywood.
SLS LUX Hotel & Residences Philadelphia
When it’s complete, this impressive property will be the tallest residential building in Pennsylvania with 150 hotel rooms and 125 luxury condominiums. A glamorous addition to Philadelphia’s Avenue of the Arts.
Katsuya Middle East
Master sushi chef Katsuya Uechi will bring his Japanese classics with a twist to three new locations in the Middle East: Doha, Dubai and Cairo.
Another exciting collaboration with renowned designer Philippe Starck, this property will be fit right in with Seattle’s creative community. Expect nearly 13,000 square feet of food and beverage offerings, and 28,000 square feet of conference and event space, all done with sbe’s iconic flair.
Hyde Hotels, Resorts & Residences
This extension of sbe’s Hyde nightlife heritage brand will launch in Florida early this year, with the development of Hyde Beach House Hollywood, Hyde Hotel & Residences Midtown Miami, and then Hyde Hotel & Residences Philadelphia later in the year.
We’re not just going for one exotic location in Mexico in 2017, we’re going for five: Cabo, Cancun, Mexico City, Puerto Vallarta and Punta Mita. Each will have their own unique amenities including nightlife venues, restaurants and of course gorgeous hotel rooms and residences.
