Christmas is coming early this year, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate it at The Abbey, “The Best Gay Bar in the World.” On Tuesday, September 23, for The Abbey’s 9th Annual Christmas in September benefit, we’ll be reveling in this unconventional holiday by giving back to one of our favorite charities—LA’s Children’s Hospital. The Abbey’s annual toy drive has been pivotal in making sure the hospital is stocked with toys for thousands of kids in need at the time of year that people don’t normally give. So save Santa the trouble of figuring out who’s been naughty or nice by bringing your own sack of unwrapped presents for tots or teens.

Of course, what would Christmas at The Abbey be without a transgender Mrs. Claus (actress Candis Cayne), go-go dancing elves, shirtless Santas, a snow filled red carpet, and signature cocktails by Absolut Vodka and Tequila Avión to make that sleigh ride feel even smoother? Add to that your hosts David Cooley, The Abbey’s founder; and Ross Mathews, E! Network host and author, sponsors BMW, evian® Natural Spring Water and Red Bull, and you’ve got the perfect setting for a September winter wonderland.

Admission is free with a toy, but don’t forget to book your table now! Email us at abbey@sbe.com or call us at 310.289.8410.
