Around these parts, brunching is a weekend ritual that we’ve grown rather fond of throughout the years. This fondness has started to resemble an obsession and on our inaugural visit to Restaurant Michael Schwartz at The Raleigh Miami Beach, we knew we were in trouble…
We were seated at 1pm (directly in the middle of the brunch hours of operation which run from 11am-4pm weekly) in the semi-private Tiger Terrace.
The Sunday Brunch menu is split into sweet and savory. We started with the deviled eggs and followed that with the Jumbo Lump Crab Hash (with two poached eggs), enjoyed with a Bellini (or three).
To satisfy our sweet tooth, we also ordered the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, donuts (to die for) with a double shot latte on the side – and after our night before at Hyde Beach Miami, we needed the caffeine.
The most wonderful thing about Restaurant Michael Schwartz isn’t necessarily the atmosphere (though you’d be hard pressed to find better), or the drinks (seriously, the brunch punch and Bellinis are unreal), but rather it’s that the menu refreshes daily depending on what is in season so it’s rare that you’ll have the same dining experience twice.
