Last Thursday, members of The CODE were treated to an exclusive day of fun in the sun with BMW’s hottest performance vehicles. The setting was the newly opened Thermal Club, a private race track in Palm Springs boasting 4.5 miles of track designed by the renowned Alan Wilson that will soon house their West Coast Performance Center. The day kicked off with guests trying their hand at BMW M6 Convertibles and Gran Coupe car control, followed by hot laps with professional drivers like Johan Schwartz, who set the Guiness World Record for the longest continuous “drift”—when drivers force their car to slide sideways through a turn—of 51 miles.
