The most epic art event of the year is just around the corner: Art Basel Miami Beach. With thousands of galleries, artists, collectors, and enthusiasts descending upon South Beach for one week, it’s basically like an art world New Year’s Eve every night. If you’re headed to sunny Florida for the festivities (or just want to live vicariously) we’ve rounded up the best events during the week. Remember to pace yourself: it all kicks off Monday, December 1st and runs through Sunday, December 7th, so no need to go ham on the first night.

Monday, December 1:

  • World-renowned fashion photographers and artistic duo Hunter & Gatti will premiere their latest series of works, “I Will Make You A Star,” at Katsuya South Beach for Art Basel and will be on display all month long. Dine with us for lunch or dinner.
  • Grey Goose commissioned artist Kehinde Wiley created a series of custom portraits honoring today’s “modern kings’ featuring Spike Lee, Swizz Beatz and Carmelo Anthony. The portraits will be featured at a public exhibit at The Redbury Miami Beach from Dec 1-3, where Miami art fair-goers can also view and bid on the works.
