If you’re up for seeing amazing live music (The Roots, Kanye, Skrillex and so much more!), sampling world class food, viewing the best in contemporary art —all while conquering your fears and chasing your dreams—the Life Is Beautiful Festival is for you. Kicking off October 24th, the event brings together tens of thousands of like-minded creatives to downtown Las Vegas for experiences and friendships that will last a lifetime.

We’ll of course be there, and with the help from our friends at Beats Music, we’ve put together a special LIB playlist** to get you even more excited about this epic event. For you festival first-timers, we’ve also included some tips below to make the most out of your 72 hours downtown:

Go to at least one LIB talk: Like watching a Ted Talk, we’ll hear from creative thinkers like David J. Peterson, creator of Game of Thrones; and Russian artists and activists Pussy Riot.

Come hungry: There will be food carts and trucks galore; sample one of José Andrés’ decadent small plates, and round it off with something sweet from O Face Doughnuts.

Get arty: See an old Vegas motel refurbished as an art gallery; or check out the humorous, larger than life sculptures by Japanese artist Misaki Kawai.

Plan your entertainment route: Stages are located all over downtown; take a look at the map and plan an itinerary so you don’t miss popular Sayers Club bands like MS MR, Fitz & The Tantrums or headliners like OutKast and the Foo Fighters.

Stay cool: Technically, you’re in the desert—prepare for the heat and for walking on pavement.

**Playlist: If you aren’t a Beats Music user already, you will be prompted to download the app and sign up to listen to the playlist. You’ll automatically get a free 14 day trial. If you’re a Beats Music user, listen right away!
