Just like there’s March Madness for basketball lovers, we’re bringing you Katsuya Madness, for all the sushi lovers out there. This whole month, the revered Japanese fusion restaurant, helmed by chef Katsuya Uechi is offering 16 new custom rolls created by each Katsuya location. Your job is to taste them all, then select your favorite contenders from East vs. West.
The tasting will be a pretty easy task, considering the mouthwatering options include rolls like “Surf & Turf”: garlic shrimp, cucumber, avocado roll topped with beef tartare, yuzu aioli; or “Ocean Drive Magazine”: Toro, shiso, pickled daikon, topped with osetra caviar, gold flakes, and a drizzle of white truffle oil.
Here’s how it works:
- Fill out your bracket and email to firstname.lastname@example.org by March 11th
- Vote on weekly competitions posted on @katsuyabysbe starting March 15th
- The winning bracket receives a $300 sbe gift card
