Good Eats at SLS Las Vegas: Announcing Bazaar Meat and Ku Noodle

It’s not a surprise that we’re die-hard fans of Chef José Andrés. The Philly Cheesesteak at The Bazaar by José Andrés at SLS Beverly Hills is, by far, one of our favorite dishes on this earth, and we’ve always left his restaurants excited about the food and the experience we just had. So after anxiously keeping the restaurant concepts going into SLS Las Vegas a secret for what seemed like an eternity, today we finally get to shout our excitement from the virtual rooftops.

If Bazaar Meat will do any one thing, it will break the rules and conventions and steer away from the traditional steakhouse: this is the concept that will change the way Las Vegas does meat. Chef Andrés has an incredible way of elevating tradition with modern techniques, and Bazaar Meat will be no exception. The preparation of the signature dishes will be focused on fire: the way the culinary team rests and tempers the meat, to roasting in the Spanish Josper oven, or over the dynamic wood burning grills – the particular attention to fire is intentional and personal. The thing we’re most excited about? Chef Andrés reimagining the Philly Cheesesteak (think the “Cubano” at The Bazaar’s South Beach location) for Bazaar Meat.

The Ku Noodle concept is what’s created when Chef Andrés completely immerses himself into the noodle biz. With a menu authentic to its roots, it’s Asian comfort food for the soul. The culinary team will pay homage to the cuisines of the far East, with some of the Chef’s favorite noodles (up to 12 varieties including our personal favorite, Japanese style soba), siu mai, fried rice, and a selection of reimagined traditional desserts (think Taiwanese-style shaved ice on those hot summer days in Las Vegas), among other signature dishes. True to Chef Andrés form, we’re quite certain that the interactive quality of the restaurant will make the Ku Noodle experience an unforgettable one.
