Jamie Foxx is on top of the world. The reigning king of the summer blockbuster, Foxx takes a turn for the electric in “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” hitting theaters today. He doesn’t show any signs of slowing down, so we were delighted when he took a few minutes to talk movies, Vegas, and the #turnup agenda.

We fell in love with you in the early nineties when you were a regular cast member on In Living Color. If you could give the 1991-version of you one piece of advice, what would it be?
I would tell myself to never doubt my talents, stay even more humble, and never trust a big butt and a smile.

The force (of Bel Biv DeVoe) is strong with this one.

We’re constantly in awe of how you reinvent yourself. So if you had to pick between supervillian Electro or cowboy bounty hunter Django as one character to play on Broadway, which would it be?
Electrigo. The E is silent.

You have a day off in LA – what does your day look like?
Breakfast. Turn up. Repent. #GettinItIn

If they made a biopic about your life, who would star as you?
Leonardo Dicaprio. #DeepTan

We’d definitely be first in line to watch this. So let’s talk soundtrack…

If you could collaborate with one musician today, who would it be?
Drake.

We’ve heard you have a soft spot for Las Vegas – any local advice you can share with us?
Fast forward to August 23rd: when we go to Vegas, we’ll go to SLS. #wheredreamscometrue

“The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” is in theaters now! Tonight, you’ll find us catching the flick, then we’ll turn up, and perhaps tomorrow we’ll repent.
